Easy Homemade Rice Krispie Treats Recipe 🍚🍫
Rice Krispie treats are a classic, no-bake dessert that’s quick, simple, and delicious! With just a few ingredients, you can make the perfect gooey and crunchy snack.
Ingredients:✔ 3 tbsp butter
✔ 10 oz (about 40) marshmallows
✔ 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
✔ 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
✔ Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions:1. Melt the Butter & MarshmallowsIn a large pot, melt the butter over low heat. Add the marshmallows and stir continuously until fully melted and smooth. Mix in the vanilla extract and salt if using.
2. Add the CerealRemove from heat and gently fold in the Rice Krispies cereal. Stir quickly to coat all the cereal evenly with the gooey marshmallow mixture.
3. Transfer & Press into a PanGrease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray. Pour the mixture into the pan and use a spatula (or wax paper) to press it down evenly. Don’t press too hard—keeping them light and airy makes them softer!
4. Let It Set & Cut Into SquaresAllow the treats to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Once set, cut them into squares and enjoy!
Optional Variations: Chocolate Drizzle – Melt chocolate and drizzle over the top.
Peanut Butter Mix – Stir in ½ cup of peanut butter with the melted marshmallows.
Sprinkles or M&Ms – Add colorful sprinkles or M&Ms for a fun twist.
