  • Air Freshener: Diffuse citrus oils for a fresh-smelling home.
  • Pest Repellent: Peppermint and citronella help keep insects away.
4. Personal Care & Beauty
  • Skin Care: Tea tree oil fights acne, lavender soothes irritation, and rosehip supports anti-aging.

  • Sleep Aid: Diffusing lavender in a child’s room can help with relaxation.
6. Safety Tips
  • Always dilute essential oils before applying them to the skin. (Use carrier oils like coconut or almond oil).
  • Avoid photosensitive oils (like lemon and bergamot) before sun exposure.
  • Keep oils out of reach of children and consult a doctor before use, especially during pregnancy or for babies.

DIY Essential Oil Candle Recipe Ingredients:
  • 1 cup soy wax flakes (or beeswax)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (helps wax burn evenly)
  • 15-25 drops essential oils (your choice!)
  • 1 cotton or wooden wick
  • 1 heat-safe glass jar
  • A double boiler or heat-safe bowl
Instructions: Melt the Wax – Use a double boiler to melt soy wax over low heat. Stir occasionally.
Add Coconut Oil – Stir it in to help the candle burn slower and evenly.
Let Cool Slightly – Wait until the wax cools to about 120°F (not too hot, or oils will evaporate).
Add Essential Oils – Stir in 15-25 drops of your chosen essential oils.
Prepare the Wick – Secure the wick in the center of the jar. You can use a dab of wax to hold it in place.
Pour the Wax – Slowly pour into the jar while keeping the wick centered.
Let It Set – Allow the candle to harden completely (about 24 hours).
Trim the Wick – Cut to about ¼ inch for a clean burn.
Light & Enjoy!
